Construction Management

Construction managers may work at times for either public or private construction projects, sometimes on behalf of the construction firm and sometimes for the management, coordination and supervision office.
The management of the different stages of the construction process includes a broad variety of tasks that require knowledge and skills in an assortment of management, economic, business, planning and legal areas, in addition to proficiency in classic engineering issues.
Over the last few years the need for high quality training of civil engineers able to operate in a structured and professional way in all these fields has been growing acutely.
In response to this, the Master Degree Program in Construction and Management offers a unique mix of courses with a strong emphasis on the stages of project initiation, feasibility analysis and business management of construction, infrastructure and real estate projects.

Additional courses allow students to deepen their knowledge in areas of leadership, mega-projects, the industrialization of construction, quality management and narrow construction.
