Water Resources & Hydraulic Engineering

Israel is at the forefront of technology related to the intelligent use of water, research and development of innovative applications, water distillation and recycling. The issue of water shortage poses considerable engineering challenges, and engineers who are trained in this field are sorely lacking.

Within the framework of the Water Resources & Hydraulic Engineering track, students study topics related to water delivery and supply systems, dispersion and trace pollutants in water bodies, water treatment, sewage treatment, wastewater treatment and recycling for use in agriculture, reservoir systems, efficient use of water resources, and the development of new water sources.
