Samapti Kundu completed her PhD degree on "Synthesis and Characterizations of Some Nanocrystalline Metal Oxide Semiconductors and Composites With Different Morphologies" at The Department of Physics, The University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India. Her present research is focused on the synthesis, characterization and application of iron-oxide decorated -polymer- clay composites for adsorption and oxidation of recalcitrant pollutants.
